This is the famous original square G-Shock; if you remember a TV ad in the 80s with ice hockey players using it as the puck, this is the same watch, it is still being made 40 years later. It has all the usual Casio features - alarm, countdown timer, stop watch plus 2 modern upgrades - the backlight on this one is electro luminescent, that means it's an even light blue glow behind the screen so you can clearly see everything on the screen. So much better than those silly little lights in the corner from the old days! The second addition is the rectangle in top right. In time display it shows the date, and in alarm, countdown and stopwatch it changes to show the time. So the time is always on the screen somehow no matter the mode.
