Meade 2" Diagonal Mirror For LX200 GPS

Meade #930 2" Diagonal Mirror with Meade UHTC group (for use with Microfocuser) 07223 (provided as standard equipment on 12", 14", and 16" LX200GPS Meade Telescopes , available optionally on other models) slips into the rear of Meade #1209 Microfocuser.

#930 2" Meade Diagonal Mirror 07323 permits the use of wide-field 2" O.D. eyepieces (e.g., Meade Series 4000 Super Wide 32mm and 40mm eyepieces and others). Each Diagonal includes a Meade optical-flat mirror of Pyrex glass, UHTC -coated for maximum reflectivity. Diagonal mirrors and prisms result in images that are correctly oriented up-and-down but reversed left-for-right.

Meade 2" surface Mirror Diagonal with UHTC coatings is designed to be used with any refractor having a 2" focuser. Meade diagonal's 2" UHTC (Ultra High Transmission Coatings ) mirror is made of enhanced aluminum, multicoated with layers of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide. UHTC coatings increase Meade Mirror reflectivity to 97%, compared with the 89% reflectivity of a standard aluminum mirror.
