Festool SG-240/W-ISC Serrated Insulation Cutting Set 240mm

At a Glance: Adjustable 240mm serrated cutting set for effortlessly cutting flexible mineral-fibre and natural-fibre insulation with the Festool ISC 240 cordless insulation saw.

The Festool SG-240/W-ISC is a specialised serrated cutting set developed for accurate, efficient cutting of flexible insulation materials up to 240mm thick. Its combination of one fixed and one moving serrated blade produces a controlled shearing action that cuts cleanly through soft, fibrous materials such as flexible glass wool, rock wool, hemp and soft wood-fibre insulation. An innovative adjustment mechanism allows the blade setting to be matched to different insulation materials, helping achieve dependable cutting performance across a wide range of mineral and natural-fibre products. Designed specifically for the Festool ISC 240 EB cordless insulation saw, the set installs without tools and can also be attached to a compatible guide-rail carriage for straight, guided cutting.

Specialised cutting performance for flexible insulation

Flexible insulation can compress, snag or tear when cut with an unsuitable blade. The SG-240/W-ISC uses two coordinated serrated blades to hold and separate the fibres with a controlled cutting action. This helps produce accurately sized insulation sections that fit neatly between rafters, studs and structural frames.
