At a Glance: Professional P100 GRANAT abrasive discs with a 125 mm diameter and StickFix backing, supplied in a 100-piece pack for efficient sanding of modern paint systems, VOC clear coats, hard sublayers, plastics, mineral materials, acrylic, repair compounds and fillers.
The Festool D125 P100 GR/100 GRANAT abrasive discs are professional 125 mm abrasives developed for efficient intermediate sanding and controlled surface preparation. With a P100 grit, they provide a useful balance between material removal and surface refinement, making them ideal for smoothing repair compounds and fillers, processing modern paint systems, sanding VOC clear coats and preparing hard sublayers before progressing to finer abrasive grades. GRANAT is Festool's universal abrasive with particular advantages when working on VOC varnishes and hard substrates. Its special coating helps prevent clogging and ensures a long service life, while the StickFix backing allows quick, secure attachment and fast abrasive changes on compatible Festool sanders. GRANAT can also be used effectively on plastics, mineral materials and acrylic. Supplied in a professional 100-piece pack, FES497168 is ideal for painters, varnishers, drywallers, joiners and workshops that regularly use P100 abrasives.
Balanced P100 sanding for controlled surface preparation
P100 sits between coarse preparation and finer intermediate sanding. It removes the sanding pattern left by coarser grades such as P80 while retaining enough cutting action to smooth coatings, fillers and repair compounds efficiently before progressing to P120, P150 or finer abrasives.

Intermediate sanding grade
P100 is ideal where P80 is slightly too aggressive but the surface still requires meaningful cutting action before finer sanding. For a high-quality painted or varnished finish, continue progressively through finer grit grades after P100.
