The Festool STF D125/8 P80 GR/10 GRANAT abrasive discs are professional 125 mm abrasives designed for efficient coarse-to-intermediate surface preparation. With a P80 grit, they provide strong but controlled material removal, making them ideal for levelling repair compounds and fillers, sanding varnishes, processing modern paint systems and preparing hard sublayers before progressing to finer abrasive grades. GRANAT is Festool's universal high-performance abrasive range and is particularly well suited to VOC varnishes and hard substrates. Its special coating helps prevent clogging and supports a long service life, while the StickFix backing allows fast, secure attachment and convenient abrasive changes on compatible Festool sanders. Versatile P80 sanding for controlled surface preparation
P80 is a highly useful coarse-to-intermediate abrasive grade. It removes material efficiently while producing a more refined scratch pattern than very coarse grades such as P40 or P60, making it an excellent transition grit before moving to P120 and finer abrasives.

Coarse-to-intermediate sanding grade
P80 is designed for efficient surface preparation rather than final finishing. Where a smooth painted, varnished or polished surface is required, continue progressively through finer abrasive grades after P80.
