The Festool STF D125/8 P60 GR/10 GRANAT abrasive discs are professional 125 mm abrasives designed for efficient coarse sanding and demanding surface preparation. With a P60 grit, they provide strong material removal while leaving a more refined scratch pattern than P40, making them an excellent choice for stripping coatings, levelling repair compounds and fillers, processing hard substrates and refining surfaces during the early stages of a sanding sequence. GRANAT is Festool's universal high-performance abrasive range and is particularly well suited to VOC varnishes and hard substrates. Its special coating helps prevent clogging and promotes a long service life, while the StickFix backing allows quick and secure abrasive changes on compatible Festool sanders. The 125 mm disc format is compatible with a wide range of Festool sanding systems, including RO 125, ETS 125, ETSC 125, ETS EC 125 and LEX 125 machines. Supplied in a practical 10-piece pack, FES497146 is ideal for smaller projects, maintenance work or workshops that want to keep a selection of different GRANAT grit sizes available.
Strong P60 cutting performance with more control than P40
P60 is a coarse abrasive grade intended for substantial material removal while producing a somewhat finer sanding pattern than P40. It is particularly useful for refining surfaces after very coarse sanding or as a starting grit where aggressive but controlled preparation is required.

Coarse sanding grade
P60 is intended for strong material removal and early-stage preparation rather than final finishing. Where a smooth painted, varnished or polished surface is required, continue through progressively finer grit grades after P60.
